What kind of records do I need to keep in my business?
Accurate and complete business records are important. Good records assist in identifying strong and weak points and opportunities for improvement. A basic system should keep track of AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), PR (Payroll Records), Inventory Records and Transaction Records. How long do I have to keep my tax returns?
At a minimum you should keep all underline documents for 7 years; however, tax returns and cost basis information should be kept indefinitely.
What are your hours?
We are open M-F 8:30 to 5, During February through April we are also open on Saturdays. We do have evening and weekend appointments available by request.
How do I check on the status of my refund?

What is my non-cash donation worth?
Charitable goods donations should be accurately reported on tax returns. See our resources page for a link to the Salvation Army Valuation of Goods Donation Guide.
How can I get my tax info to you?
You don't have to have an appointment to get your taxes done, just drop them in the mail or at our office. We will give you a call if there is any information missing. If you are a new client, we would like to meet with you in the first year to ensure that we have all the documents needed.
How do I get an EIN number?
An Employer Identification Number (EIN) can be applied for on line with the IRS. We can help you in preparing the SS4 (EIN application) or actually obtain the EIN for you online.
What is the limit of deductible travel and meal costs?
There is no limit to the deductibility of travel; however, expenses must be appropriate and not extravagant. Deduction for business meals and entertainment can't exceed 50% of the cost. Travel between your residence and work site is not deductable.
